This past year was a once in a lifetime event, hopefully. It’s put a lot of things into perspective for quite a lot of people. Families are shifting their focus more to themselves, individuals are having realizations with all the time they’ve had on their hands, and for many, there is no going back to the way things were.

I can only imagine what it would have been like to have a baby during the pandemic and experience parenthood in such a bizarre, uncontrollable situation.

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate a first birthday than to have family portraits to document that you not only survived, but thrived. But that’s just my totally biased opinion 😉
