Kate
Some callings arrive quietly. Mine came over twenty years ago, the moment I looked through a camera lens for the very first time — and something inside me simply knew. I had no idea then that it would lead me here: to an ethereal studio just north of Dallas, to international recognition, and to the most humbling privilege I can imagine;
being trusted with the moments that change everything.
I photograph women on the brink of motherhood. Families as they grow. The tender, fleeting beauty of new beginnings.
From maternity portraits that honor the quiet, extraordinary strength of a woman becoming a mother, to newborn sessions that preserve the details so small they're gone before you've had a chance to memorize them — I pour my whole heart into every image I make. Not because it's my job, but because I genuinely believe this work matters.
These photographs will outlive us. Your grandchildren will hold them someday.
My Flower Mound, Texas studio is a space I designed to feel like an exhale - soft light spilling through carefully considered windows, delicate textures, and a curated wardrobe of feminine gowns and timeless pieces for women and children. You don't need to bring anything but yourself. Everything here was chosen with you in mind.
I still feel it, every single session - that same wonder I felt the very first time.
That is the gift of this work.
And being let into your story, even just for a few hours, is something I will never take for granted.
a bit about me
I am so happy to meet you
As a maternity and newborn photographer in the North Dallas and Flower Mound, TX area, what I want most is for every woman who walks through my studio door to feel exactly that - fully seen, at ease, and celebrated.
Pregnancy is a fleeting season.
It moves faster than it should, and the world rarely
slows down long enough to let you feel it.
That is what I am here for.
I believe, deeply, that life is meant to be lived fully. Loving the people in front of you, saying yes to the moments that matter, and never underestimating the importance of a really good cup of coffee.
I would love to hear your story - where you are, what you're feeling, and what you hope to hold onto from this season of your life.
The first step is a simple one.
Fill out my contact form, and we'll begin the conversation from there. I'll share everything you need to know about the session experience, and together we'll talk through your vision, your style, and every thoughtful detail in between.
What we create will be effortless, meaningful,
and beautifully, entirely yours.

With 18 years of experience behind the lens, capturing genuine, organic moments that reflect true emotion and connection is one of my greatest passions. I strive to make each session enjoyable and effortless, so you can relax and be yourself in front of the camera.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m at home with my two beautiful and very energetic boys. I also have a deep love for gardening and spending time outdoors, which fuels my creativity and keeps me grounded.
I can’t wait to work with you and create something special!

Meet
“I found Kate when she was offering the most magical Santa sessions in DFW and we’ve been going back to her for our family photography since. She is an absolute dream to work with, an artist, and her photos are a true treasure to me. She is so patient with our children, and a gentle guide to posing us so I feel most beautiful myself, I am always blown away by the results and incredibly happy with our photos. Thank you Kate for capturing our family, and gifting us a moment in time to reflect on forever! We are SO happy!!”
The Rings
Two decades behind the lens have taught me that the details are everything. The way light falls. The way a woman stands when she finally feels at ease. The way a newborn curls into stillness. I have spent years learning how to hold all of that - and how to give it back to you in an image that takes your breath away.
Every detail of my Lewisville studio was chosen with that same intention - the soft walls that catch the light just so, the handpicked gowns that honor every shape and stage of motherhood, and the outdoor locations in the Flower Mound area that feel as natural and unhurried as this season of life deserves. I've also built a trusted circle of local artists and businesses who share my devotion to care and excellence, so that every part of your experience feels effortless from beginning to end.
When you choose to work with me, you're not just choosing a photographer. You're choosing years of quiet dedication to this craft - and a genuine promise to show up for you, so that all you have to do is show up for yourself.

Outside the studio, life looks a lot like sidelines and Sunday drives.
My husband Brad and I recently planted roots in Justin, TX, after a decade spent in the heart of Flower Mound - and we wouldn't trade any of it. We're raising two kids who keep us wonderfully busy, sharing our home with a couple of rescue pups, and stealing quiet moments together whenever we can find them.
I adore growing a variety of plants inside and outside of our home. You may find me strolling through a nursery to find a new plant baby or taking a cutting from my rose garden if the weather is nice!
I love sipping on a good craft coffee with a healthy dose of cream or a warm cup of floral tea. Throw in some sunshine and I’m one happy girl!
TO THE ONES WHO LOVE FIERCELY
There’s a moment, just before you reach for your child’s hand, just before you press your lips to their forehead, just before you whisper “I love you” for the hundredth time that day, when time slows. A moment where you see them, really see them, and your heart swells with the weight of it all. The beauty. The fleetingness. The love so big it almost hurts.
That’s the moment I want to bottle up for you.
I know what it’s like to want to remember the way their tiny fingers wrap around yours, the way their laughter fills the room, the way they lean into you like you are their whole world. Because for them, you are. And one day, when their hands aren’t so small and their laughter isn’t always within reach, you’ll have something that brings you right back to this moment, this love.
That’s why I do what I do.
I don’t just take pictures, I give you something to hold onto.
A piece of your story, frozen in time.
A love letter written in light and framed in warmth.
Because your love deserves to be remembered, forever.
With all my heart,
Kate
