I read an article that talked about how being outside and in nature is the ‘great age equalizer’, where young and old can come together to find joy in exploration. I just love that. I didn’t realize it, but that’s part of why I bring so many families to my outdoor locations. Children have more space to relax and encouraging just a little exploration with a cool bug or pretty flower, typically loosens up & calms an anxious babe.

As a family photographer, small tricks like this are key to have in the toolbox.

And now I’m off to explore some with my own kids outside!
