As a Plano newborn photographer, there are a few favorite solo baby images that I keep in my rotation during sessions. They’re classic, tried and true, and ones parents always love. While newborn sessions with me include the whole family, this post is about the portion of a newborn session with just baby.

Those newborn features change so dang fast. Newborn portraits in the first two weeks can give you the opportunity to freeze time and have perfectly preserved memories of just how tiny your baby’s fingers & toes were or the little swirl of their hair.

Another favorite is the little burrito baby, all wrapped up. For obvious good reason!

And last, a classic profile. After staring at an ultrasound for months, it’s your new favorite profile picture.
