Happy Mother’s Day – to all of the mamas, grandmothers, those who have stepped in to take over the role of a mother, and those who longingly wish to be called mama. One of my very favorite parts of my job, is capturing that mother/child bond on camera. I always tell moms to get in the picture, it doesn’t matter if you aren’t at your goal weight (guilty!), your kids aren’t going to look back at these pictures and see your double chin, or the extra weight you’ve put on because you’ve been so busy pouring out of an empty cup. All they see is their mom, and they are going to look back on these images and LOVE and cherish these images their entire lives. I put together a slideshow of some of the amazing mothers, many of whom I am also so grateful to call friends, that I’ve had the pleasure of knowing and photographing this year! Wishing each and every one of you a wonderful Mother’s Day filled with happiness and love!
