If you’ve been following along on Instagram or Facebook this week, you’ve seen that I’ve taken a break from my regularly scheduled programing of beautiful families to highlight headshots and personal branding. While I do photograph a lot of families and motherhood sessions as well as getting back into weddings, I also photograph quite a few headshots. Personal branding sessions are some of my favorite, I’ve had the unique opportunity, inadvertently, to have mostly work for small businesses before I launched into my individual career in photography. I am so passionate about seeing small businesses grow and thrive and I love to not only learn about their successes and achievements, but also their struggles and find ways that we can work together to help them achieve their goals. One of the things that I hear often is having visual content, whether it be for their website, or ongoing content needs for social media. Queue the personal branding session. I have several options for personal branding images ranging from a simple headshot, to “mini” headshot sessions that include hair and makeup, to half day and full day sessions with multiple outfit and location changes.

This here, is my sweet friend, Laurie. She is a health and fitness coach, avid interior decorating enthusiast, and talented Physicians Assistant who specializes in infectious diseases. We knew that she would need a series of different photos for ongoing social media efforts and wanted to highlight not only her health and fitness business, but also her other interests, including her new (and AMAZING) custom built home (and yes, we just had to take a few shots in her gorgeous closet). Laurie is one of the most caring and compassionate humans you will ever meet who deeply cares about everyone she meets, and I’m blessed to have her as a friend!
