I’d be lying if I said that small, intimate weddings weren’t some of my favorite to photograph. There is something about them – knowing that only their closest friends and family were invited to be a part of this very special moment in time, that makes them so very special. So when my long time client Emily called and asked if I might be interested in photographing her brother’s wedding in their backyard, I told her absolutely! It was an unusually cool October morning, but the light filtering through the branches of the large tree provided a beautiful picturesque setting for Andrew & David to exchange nuptials before a handful of guests. They celebrated afterward with a champagne toast, brunch, and the tastiest of cakes – chocolate for David and lemon for Andrew.
