I think one thing we don’t necessarily talk about enough is how women feel about their bodies and themselves as a whole after their baby is born. We don’t really acknowledge, aside from occasional memes or articles, just how entirely different life becomes and often times, moms are left in survival mode for so long, we get lost in the sea of needs. Our identities change, but we’re left playing catch up on what those new identities really are. Beliefs are challenged. We are growing up just as much as our baby is, just in a different way. It’s something I feel we don’t talk about enough but should. It’s such a relief knowing you’re not the only one and trust me, mama. I know those long, late nights can start to feel isolating. You’re not alone! And my studio is always a safe harbor.
