This wedding is so near and dear to my heart.  When my baby sister got engaged, she asked me to plan and photograph her wedding.  There was a part of me that wanted to photograph it in its entirety, however, I also wanted to be able to live in the moment and be a PART of the wedding day, not just the girl behind the camera capturing every moment as they happened.  I was so blessed to meet an AMAZING wedding photographer from California (HEYYYYY Cate Batchelor) at a convention a few months prior and she excitedly jumped on a plan to assist me (and mostly take over) the task at hand. 

Vendors:
Ashley and Ryan were married in the gorgeous chapel at Rustic Grace Estate, located amongst the vast fields of North Texas just north of Dallas. Aaron at Uptown Sound couldn’t have been more fantastic – he went above and beyond, he not only DJ’ed, he helped run the show at the reception and was an absolute dream to work with (funny story – also hailing from the great northern state of Michigan, prior to moving to Texas, he DJ’d on the radio station we listened to, it was a no brainer to support a fellow mid-Michigan transplant and add in a little bit of the mitten state to their big day).  With so many friends and family coming in from out of town, Ash and Ryan wanted to provide a real TEXAS experience and brought in BBQ from their favorite place, Hutchins. Being a makeup artist, the bride applied her own makeup and hair was provided by the always amazing Jac and Annie from Tangerine Salon.  Dresses:  Mockingbird Bridal
